The E-One aerial system is designed as a complete package—cab, chassis, body and aerial. Your aerial is designed and tested using advanced modeling, CAD systems and third party design verification. We achieve maximum strength to weight ratios through modern, high strength aluminum which provide unmatched performance and safety.
All E-One ladder components are constructed of high strength aluminum alloy extrusions. Weighing about 1/3 less than a comparable steel product, aluminum has greater strength and longer life.
Our use of corrosion resistant aluminum does not require paint protection. Additionally, our design eliminates high maintenance rubber rung covers.
What’s all this mean? Simply put, with 1,800 aerial units in service, no E-One has had a tip over or structural safety failure.
E-One's time and money is invested in providing you with optimal vehicle solutions for fire service applications. Our vehicles are put through rigorous testing during design, including strain gauge testing and road testing. By pinpointing potential problems ahead of time, we provide you with a trouble free, long-life design. Our trucks are proven before you buy them, not as you use them.
Most E-ONE aerials and platforms are available with an optional information system that dynamically displays available aerial loads at all extension and retraction positions, percent of aerial extension, tip temperature, waterflow and engine information, and much more. .
E-One's exclusive underslung jack system with narrow
jackspread makes it easier to set up in narrow alleys and congested streets.
