Speed and safety take top priority. The 95-Platform’s
short 245” wheelbase with low center of gravity provides
responsive, safe maneuvering. As for aerial safety–the
95-Platform has never had a structural failure or tip-over.
The 95 Platform has a 1,025 lb. rated capacity. The design
permits 3 firefighters at 250 lbs. each and 275 lbs. for
monitors, lights, storage boxes and other customer specified
options.
The 95 Platform offers exceptional unmatched stability.
The apparatus can set-up on a 12% slope and perform operations
without reductions in performance capabilities. Independent
stabilizer controls permit easy set-up on uneven terrain.
The integral torque box efficiently transfers loads to the
ground .
The 95 Platform exceeds NFPA 1901 chapter 18 structural
safety factors by providing a 2.5 to 1 safety margin, which
includes water in the waterway. The NFPA requirement is
2 to 1. The 95 Platform surpasses NFPA by maintaining a
2.5 to 1 safety margin while flowing up to 1,500 gpm. Competitor
models fall below the 2 to 1 safety factor with water flow.
The 95 Platform offers firefighting capabilities that have
no equal in the industry. While operating the aerial at
any angle of elevation at full extension, the platform monitor(s)
can be operated in any position, even above horizontal,
with rated load in the bucket. De-rating the load capacity
or limiting the vertical nozzle travel by the operator is
not necessary. Flowing 1,500 gpm from two monitors aimed
up poses no structural or stability problems for the 95
Platform.
