The E-One aerial system is designed as a complete package—cab,
chassis, body and aerial. Your aerial is designed and tested
using advanced modeling, CAD systems and third party design
verification. We achieve maximum strength to weight ratios
through modern, high strength aluminum which provide unmatched
performance and safety.
The all aluminum platform provides easy access to and from
the bucket, with lift-up corners and outward swinging corner
gates as standard features. Aerial controls, monitor controls
and electrical accessories are conveniently located. An
81/2” deep side and front walkway afford better egress
to and from the platform. Stokes basket mounts, which enable
the victim to be safely and securely carried on the platform,
is available as an option.
Using high strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy extrusions in
the ladder and platform construction achieves a high strength
to weight ratio resulting in an extremely strong elevating
platform. The aerial ladder and platform are corrosion resistant
for many years of service. Rungs have an integral slip resistant
surface on 100% of the surface, eliminating the need for
rubber rung covers. The swirled, natural finish requires
little maintenance and painting of the ladder or platform
is not required. Welds and associated platform and ladder
assemblies are easily inspected.
