SUNBELT FIRE HAS IT'S THIRD WINNER:

Sunbelt Fire wishes to congratulate the winner of the second quarter 2007 drawing for a Cairn's MSA leather helmet. The winner, Chief Jubal Ryan, has been with The Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department in Central Mississippi for 8 years.

Chief Jubal Ryan received his free Cairns leather helmet from Sunbelt Fire, today and he was extremely excited. He said the word is out that he is the recipient of this helmet and he is the envy of all fire fighters in the county.

The Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department has 28 Members, 20 Fire Fighters and 3 Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs). Area of first response is 30 Square Miles with 1000+ homes. Meridian Navel Air Station and Fuel Storage Facility are also within the response area. Lauderdale VFD responds to EMR calls on Interstate and Major North/ South Highway 45.

Chief Ryan has held his position for the past year and has been a member for 8 years. Prior to becoming a member with the Lauderdale VFD, Chief Ryan was a fire fighter in Kansas for 25 years. Chief Ryan is also a paramedic with a South Miss Hospital Based Service.
