The inner framework of every E-One body consists of high
strength aluminum extrusions. All-aluminum, corrosion-resistant,
modular E-One bodies are constructed with interlocking aluminum
extrusions and 1/4” (6.35 mm) aluminum plates welded
together to form an extremely strong framework. Slots in
the extrusions allow the body’s 1/4” (6.35 mm)
aluminum outer skin to slide in, creating a durable tongue-and-groove
assembly.
By interlocking the aluminum extrusions and body plates
E-One creates an exceptionally strong, yet lightweight vehicle
that permits more payload to carry more rescue equipment.
In addition, this method of construction permits custom
compartmentation and is backed by a ten year structural
warranty.
